Biography
I’m so excited to be here as this year's Fulbright Teaching Assistant. Being Austrian, it’s very interesting to learn how Austrian culture and the German language is taught and perceived here in the US. This academic year, I’m teaching GER 104, which mainly focuses on Austrian topics.
I finished my Teacher Training Program at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, in 2018. Back in Austria, I was teaching English and Geography at middle school level for the last couple of years. Teaching abroad and at a US-university is definitely a new challenge for me, but that’s what I’ve been looking for.
Fun fact about me: I speak a rather strong Tyrolean dialect, so if you want to learn funny-sounding Tyrolean words, just let me know 😊.
